Your Holiday Programmes

Celebrate Yuletide this year in the traditional Austrian fashion, singing carols in a quaint historic church, then drinking hot wine toddies around a beautifully decorated Christmas tree.  Austria retains its original atmosphere of Christmas, with snow-topped buildings, crackling log fires, long lazy dinners accompanied by good wines and idle chatter – truly peace on earth.  Once again we shall be using many of our favourite resorts in the Austrian Lake District, which are ideally situated to enhance the appeal of our extensive Christmas & New Year Programme.

 

During this festive season, there will be a variety of sightseeing excursions and evening entertainment included free of charge!   Depending upon the tour you select,

You’ll visit such exciting cities as Linz, Mozart’s Salzburg, tour the delightful ‘Sound of Music’ lakes, feed the reindeer in a wildlife park, or maybe as an extra, experience a ride on a cable car or in a horse drawn sleigh.

One of your highlights will be our Christmas morning carol service, where we recapture the atmosphere of Christmas Past in a typical BaroqueChurch.

Your evenings are also fun-packed, with dances, schuhplattler shows, bowling competitions, folklore and, of course, your New Year’s celebrations.

As you would expect, the hotels we have chosen are all friendly and family run, built in Austrian style with delightful rooms boasting full shower and toilet facilities en-suite.  Excellent food is of course featured, along with fabulous entertainment and high standards of service.  All this coupled with the warm hospitality of your Austrian hosts, will make this a truly memorable Christmas and New Year.

 

 

Your Holiday Itinerary

You’ll leave your chosen departure point early Thursday morning for an afternoon channel crossing to the continent.  After travelling through France and Germany, you’ll arrive at your overnight hotel during the evening.  The next week is yours to enjoy a really traditional Christmas & New Year.  Throughout your stay you’ll be accommodated on a breakfast and dinner arrangement.   The following Saturday (New Years Day) you’ll leave Austria for home, arriving at your original joining point late Sunday.
