Camargue and Provence
with Sea Cruise to Bilbao

Day 1  - Portsmouth

You'll leave your chosen departure point late morning for Portsmouth where you’ll board your cruise ferry to Spain and check into your en-suite cabins. You can then dine in one of the many restaurants, have a flutter in the casino or dance the evening away to live music in the ship’s cabaret lounge.  

 

Day 2 – Sea Cruising

A lazy day to enjoy all the facilities offered onboard the ‘Pride of Bilbao’. Swim in the pool, work out in the gymnasium, take cocktails in the piano bar or just relax and watch a movie in the onboard cinema.

 

Day 3 – Arles / Nimes

After disembarking at breakfast time, you’ll travel along the coast of Green Spain to towards the French border then along the south of coast of France to the Arles/Nimes area where you’ll check into your hotel in time for dinner.

 

Day 3 – Camargue & Ste Marie de la Mer

Today your optional excursion takes you through the fascinating landscape of the Camargue with its  waterways, lakes and unique wildlife.  You’ll also have plenty of free time in the beautiful seaside resort of Sainte Marie de la Mer before returning to the hotel in time for dinner.

 

Day 4 – The Pont du Gard and Arles

Todays excursion is free exept for the admission to the Pont du Gard Roman Aqueduct for those who want to explore the site. We will visit the town of Arles in the morning where you are free to wander around the historic centre.

 

Day 6 – St Remy De Provence and Les Beaux

Todays optional Excursion visits the typical Provence town of St Remy where it is market day. In the afternoon we’ll come back via Les Beaux, a picturesque spot in an unusual landscape.

 

Day 7 – Avignon

Optional excursion to the city of the Popes and the famous Pont D’Avignon.

 

Day 8 – Paris

Today we head North to our overnight hotel in the Paris area. After checking into your hotel you will have the opportunity to join us on our optional evening Paris city tour.

 

Day 9 – Home

We leave Paris and continue back to the U.K. We should be back in the Midlands by mid-evening.

Your holiday hotel will be located located near to Arles or Nimes and will be of a good standard with en-suite rooms and a welcoming bar.
