Day 1  - Portsmouth

You'll leave your chosen departure point late morning for Dover where you’ll board your  ferry to France and continue to your overnight hotel. .  

 

Day 2 –  Camargue

Leave your overnight hotel and continue on to your hotel in the Arles/Nimes area in time for dinner.

 

 

Day 3 – Camargue & Ste Marie de la Mer

Today your optional excursion takes you through the fascinating landscape of the Camargue with its  waterways, lakes and unique wildlife.  You’ll also have plenty of free time in the beautiful seaside resort of Sainte Marie de la Mer before returning to the hotel in time for dinner.

 

Day 4 – The Pont du Gard and Arles

Todays excursion is free exept for the admission to the Pont du Gard Roman Aqueduct for those who want to explore the site. We will visit the town of Arles in the morning where you are free to wander around the historic centre, before continuing on to the Pont du Gard.

 

Day 5 – St Remy De Provence,Les Beaux.

Todays optional Excursion visits the typical Provence town of St Remy where it is market day. In the afternoon we’ll come back via Les Beaux, a picturesque spot in an unusual landscape. We will also pay a brief visit to the town of Arles.

 

Day 6 – Avignon

Optional half day excursion to the city of Avignon. Free afternoon.

 

Day 8 – Paris

Today we head North to our overnight hotel in the Paris area. After checking into your hotel you will have the opportunity to join us on our optional evening Paris city tour.

 

Day 8 – Home

We leave Paris and continue back to the U.K. We should be back in the Midlands by mid-evening.

 

 

 

Hotel

Your holiday hotel will be located located near to Arles or Nimes and will be of a good standard with en-suite rooms and a welcoming bar.
